Hi! I'm Tiffany, but most of my clients call me Tiff. I hold a Masters degree in Counselling psychology from City University, and am currently awaiting registration with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
Check out the Billing & Insurance page to see how you can be reimbursed for services with me while I await registration.
As a therapist, I am passionate about providing a space you to come in and feel safe to be exactly as you are in that moment. I have a deep respect for the clients who entrust me with their stories, and am honoured to walk along side you as we navigate the various parts of yourself that you want to meet, grow, develop and accept.
I work with individuals and couples looking to improve their relationships with themself and/or their partners, work through anxiety, navigate life transitions, explore identity, or more general personal growth.
I have a special interest in sex therapy for individuals and couples, and have additional training in sex therapy, kink, queer-specific issues, sexual disfunction, desire discrepancy, sexuality and aging and other sexuality-related issues. I also have additional training in Narrative Therapy which provides me with a systems-focused lens. This lens acknowledges the various cultural and social systems that contribute to our beliefs, identity and world views.
I approach therapy from a sex-positive, queer-affirming, anti-oppressive lens, and am integrative in my approach. The modalities I draw from are Emotion Focused Therapy, parts work, CBT, Narrative therapy, and Adlerian therapy.
My clients often say that I have a warm yet direct approach, and I value the use of humour and immediacy with my clients.
Outside of the therapy room, I am a lover of nature, art, coffee and have a passion for wacky earrings. I embrace my somewhat unhealthy relationship with thrifting, and am a recovering perfectionist (still in progress...).
